Design proposal by ITOKO in-house desiner
Since founded in 1931, ITOKO has been specialized in silk fabric production for Kimonos of Japanese top quality. And the founder himself was a Japanese painter and a fabric weaving designer. Then now we are proud of our in-house designers of silk textile weaving designer of Japanese painting artist, hand-craft designer and graphic painter.
In addition to our in-house designs, we also apply customers’ design order or their own design data.
Design creation
Proposal by Japanese painter
Our designers will create a new design based on the concept of customers. We would get information and understand the ideas through interviews with them to propose a new pattern image.
Selection from Kimono patterns
We have developed more than 3,000 weaving patterns on Jacquard machines for white Kimono textile. You can select a pattern from among them and we can weave it into a wide width.
Arrangement of standard pattern
You can choose from our standard fabric patterns and arrange some of them. We can also make arrangements according to your logo or the symbol/theme of your project.
Specila pattern order from customers' data
We can also create a pattern from your design data. Please note that special order of weaving or embroidery patterns can be available but have possibility depending on the pattern kinds.
Fabric Types
Embroidery

The beauty of embroidery patterns applied to silk organdie fabric. Our organdy is made of 100% raw silk of single twisted not scoured. It is light, thin, naturally lusted and semi-transparent and has bouncy feel good for interior material.
Silk gauze
width：1200mm
minimum：23ｍ
“Mon-sha” is a type of semi-transparent silk gauze textile, originally for mid-summer Kimono with excellent air permeability.
The beauty of silk gauze is characterized by the transparancy of warp/weft thread space and woven patterns on it.
The texture with silver-colored threads in the weft further accentuates the pattern.
Tango crepe

minimum：23ｍ
The weft threads are woven doubled on a Jacquard loom to create Tango crepe patterns, and silver-colored threads are woven into the crepe to make the design pattern bright that can be expressed freely by our computer Jacquard program.

特注柄は、最低ロット以上のご購入が必須となります。また、生地の種類やデザインによって制作期間は異なりますので、都度ご確認ください。生地は天然繊維の絹を使用しております。環境によって、引っ張り方によって見た目が変わることがございますので、ご注意ください。
まず、デザイン手法を４つの中から決定します。
デザインイメージが固まりましたら、正式にお見積りさせていただきます。
また、仕様合わせたおおよその加工日数も併せてお知らせいたします。
また、お届け先もこの時点でお知らせください。送料のお見積りもさせていただきます。
お見積り後、金額や納期に納得いただきましたら、ご発注ください。
ご発注頂きましたらデザイン制作へと移ります。
デザインイメージを実際の織りイメージに詳細を詰めていきます。
デザインが確定しましたら、いよいよ試織となります。
試織が終わり、問題がなければ本製作を行います。
制作が完了しましたら、検品し、引き渡しとなります。
